The Hostel Luz, which has been recently renovated, is one of the favourite places to stay for tourists in Madrid, due to its friendly service and excellent location.
Located in the historical part of the city, it is the ideal place to stay for visiting the Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, the museums, the Plaza Mayor and all the emblematic places in the centre of Madrid.
It is located in the very heart of Madrid, a few metres from the Calle Arenal, which is a prime location for seeing the Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace or the Opera House of Madrid.

The Hostal Luz is located in the heart of Madrid, in the district known as Los Austrias. Its prime location is one of its main advantages, enabling you to visit the most emblematic places, such as the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol, just 5 minutes away. The Art Triangle of the main museums: The Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofía Contemporary Art Museum are just a 30 minute walk away.

How to arrive in public transport
Airport: Line 8 (pink). Get off at Nuevos Ministerios change to Line 10 (dark blue). Then change to line 5 (light green) at Alonso Martínez and then get off at Opera.
Taxi: 25 minutes. Between €23 and €30 approximately
Atocha Train Station: Line 1 (light blue), as far as Sol. Line 2 (red) as far as Ópera.
Chamartín train station: Line 10 (dark blue) as far as Alonso Martínez, and then change to line 5 (light green) as far as Ópera.
